PROTAGONISTS

CALEB THOMPSON

Although Caleb Thompson is the main protagonist of the story, no one who knows him would describe him as anything close to a hero. He’s rude, sarcastic, disrespectful, unfiltered, and many would say he loves to pick fights. And yet this troublesome teen is chosen by God to fight the enemies of Calvary Academy and the world. No one is more confused by this choice than Caleb himself but little does he know that God is sovereign and has a plan for even someone like him.

ARIC THE GUARDIAN ANGEL

Freshly promoted to the role of Guardian Angel, the worrisome Aric is excited and anxious to lead his team of young human kids as they are tasked to embark on dangerous missions. He had never met humans prior to his promotion so he is often unaware of how to interact with them and is seen as awkward at times. Even with his quirks, Aric is determined to fulfill his duty as a Guardian Angel at Calvary Academy to the glory of God.

JESSICA “JESSIE” LEE

Bubbly and always sporting a positive attitude, Jessie is overjoyed to be a Cadet of Calvary Academy. Jessie’s deep love for God and extensive knowledge of many ancient cultures are part of what
make her a valuable member of Aric’s squad. If only she’d do something about her borderline addiction to pranking others…

JUAN EDUARDO VELAZQUEZ

Juan Velazquez is someone who grew up in church since birth and takes his walk with Christ very seriously. As such he is the most eager to serve God out of his two fellow squad mates. Out of his three
other brothers, Juan alone was chosen to join the ranks of Calvary Academy, and so he carries the burden of proving himself worthy, which sometimes leads to Juan being overly critical of others who don’t share his zeal.
